Investeko S.A. is Joint Stock com­pa­ny oper­at­ing in the envi­ron­men­tal sec­tor by offer­ing ser­vices of con­sul­tan­cy, design­ing and imple­men­ta­tion. Its spe­cial­iza­tion is sus­tain­able ener­gy, waste man­age­ment and envi­ron­men­tal R&D. 23 years of expe­ri­ence has result­ed in dozens of imple­men­ta­tion projects and achieve­ments (incl. inter­na­tion­al air­ports, recy­cling and incin­er­a­tion plants).

Plas­ti­ka Skaza d.o.o. is a pri­vate­ly owned com­pa­ny, spe­cial­iz­ing in the man­u­fac­tur­ing of plas­tic prod­ucts, that employs 287 peo­ple and has a turnover of 31 mil­lion € (2020). The com­pa­ny has more than 40 years of expe­ri­ence in injec­tion mould­ing (elec­tron­ic, fur­ni­ture, med­ical and oth­er cus­tom-made indus­tri­al prod­ucts, as well as its own brand prod­ucts).

Ekopart­ner Sile­sia Sp. z o.o. (EPS) is a com­pa­ny whose main activ­i­ty is recy­cling of plas­tics, in par­tic­u­lar poly­olefins. Today EPS is becom­ing one of plas­tics recy­cling lead­ers in South­ern Poland (Sile­sia Region). In EPS’s plants, waste is sub­ject­ed to treat­ment process­es, which result in high-qual­i­ty raw mate­r­i­al used in the pro­duc­tion of plas­tic prod­ucts.

Euro­pean Forum for Envi­ron­men­tal Respon­si­bil­i­ty (EFOE) is a Pol­ish NGO which aims to pro­mote sus­tain­able devel­op­ment in busi­ness and Cor­po­rate Social Respon­si­bil­i­ty (CSR) i.e.: *sup­port­ing cli­mate change adap­ta­tion and mit­i­ga­tion in busi­ness, *dis­sem­i­na­tion of infor­ma­tion, meth­ods and tech­niques for envi­ron­ment pro­tec­tion and cli­mate action.

Insti­tute for Ecol­o­gy of Indus­tri­al Areas (IETU) is a research insti­tute act­ing under the Min­is­ter of Cli­mate. The R&D and ser­vices car­ried out by IETU focus on envi­ron­men­tal chal­lenges posed by indus­tri­alised and urbanised areas in the con­text of cir­cu­lar econ­o­my, resource effi­cien­cy, adap­ta­tion to cli­mate change and mit­i­ga­tion of its effects.

The New Raw (TNR) is a Dutch fur­ni­ture design & man­u­fac­tur­er that is work­ing towards push­ing the bound­aries of sus­tain­able design in terms of mate­r­i­al use, design & pro­duc­tion method­ol­o­gy. The com­pa­ny employs robot­ic 3D print­ing in order to process plas­tic waste. The tech­no­log­i­cal sys­tem of TNR is specif­i­cal­ly devel­oped to sup­port cir­cu­lar con­cepts for indoor and out­door spaces and to process non-stan­dard waste mate­ri­als com­ing from var­i­ous plas­tic waste streams.

Co-financing institutions

The LIFE pro­gramme, the only finan­cial instru­ment of the Euro­pean Union ded­i­cat­ed exclu­sive­ly to co-financ­ing projects in the field of envi­ron­men­tal pro­tec­tion, includ­ing nature, and human impact on cli­mate and adap­ta­tion to its changes. Its main objec­tive is to sup­port the imple­men­ta­tion of the EU law, the imple­men­ta­tion of the EU pol­i­cy in this area, as well as the iden­ti­fi­ca­tion and pro­mo­tion of new solu­tions to envi­ron­men­tal and cli­mate prob­lems.

The Nation­al Fund for Envi­ron­men­tal Pro­tec­tion and Water Man­age­ment (NFEP&WM) in coop­er­a­tion with voivode­ship funds for envi­ron­men­tal pro­tec­tion and water man­age­ment is the pil­lar of the Pol­ish sys­tem of financ­ing envi­ron­men­tal pro­tec­tion.
