Sustainable future

On 29^th of Novem­ber 2024 rep­re­sen­ta­tives of plas­ti­cLIFE­cy­cle project par­tic­i­pat­ed in Busi­ness x Design con­fer­ence organ­ised by Acad­e­my of Fine Arts in Katow­ice under the mot­to “Sus­tain­able Future”

The con­fer­ence was focused on the role of design in build­ing a more respon­si­ble and eco­log­i­cal world. The con­fer­ence includ­ed expert pre­sen­ta­tions, as well as pre­sen­ta­tions of projects that imple­ment the idea of ​​sus­tain­able devel­op­ment in prac­tice. Project man­ag­er Mr Arka­diusz Primus (Investeko SA) pre­sent­ed plas­ti­cLIFE­cy­cle project, where­as Mrs Fotei­ni Seta­ki (The New Raw) dis­cussed the pos­si­bil­i­ties of 3D print­ing from recy­cled plas­tics (craft­ing plas­tic waste with robots).

The event was an excel­lent oppor­tu­ni­ty to estab­lish a dia­logue between design­ers, com­pa­nies and stu­dents, open­ing up space for new ideas and inspi­ra­tions. Below a pho­to col­lage from the event.
