19th LIFE Information Day

On 12 May 2026, the 19th LIFE Infor­ma­tion Day, orga­nized by the Nation­al Fund for Envi­ron­men­tal Pro­tec­tion and Water Man­age­ment (NFOŚiGW), took place in War­saw. The event brought togeth­er more than 200 rep­re­sen­ta­tives from pub­lic admin­is­tra­tion, local gov­ern­ments, non-gov­ern­men­tal orga­ni­za­tions, acad­e­mia, and the busi­ness sec­tor.

Dur­ing the event, the Pres­i­dent of the Man­age­ment Board of INVESTEKO S.A. and Project Man­ag­er of the plas­ti­cLIFE­cy­cle project pre­sent­ed the project’s objec­tives and shared his expe­ri­ence in secur­ing LIFE Pro­gramme fund­ing and imple­ment­ing envi­ron­men­tal projects.

Par­tic­i­pants had the oppor­tu­ni­ty to learn about the fund­ing oppor­tu­ni­ties offered by the LIFE Pro­gramme through pre­sen­ta­tions deliv­ered by rep­re­sen­ta­tives of CINEA, the Min­istry of Cli­mate and Envi­ron­ment, and NFOŚiGW. Exam­ples of projects focused on nature con­ser­va­tion, the cir­cu­lar econ­o­my, ener­gy effi­cien­cy, and cli­mate change adap­ta­tion were also pre­sent­ed.

An inte­gral part of the event was the exhi­bi­tion area, where the plas­ti­cLIFE­cy­cle project show­cased its activ­i­ties. Meet­ings with LIFE Pro­gramme ben­e­fi­cia­ries pro­vid­ed a valu­able plat­form for exchang­ing expe­ri­ences, inspi­ra­tion, and prac­ti­cal knowl­edge on the suc­cess­ful imple­men­ta­tion of projects fund­ed by the Euro­pean Union.
