PLC plant demo workshop

PLC plant demo work­shop – 16.04.2025. Orga­nized as part of the DEMO work­shop series, this event gave us the plea­sure of host­ing rep­re­sen­ta­tives from PreZe­ro Pol­s­ka, a com­pa­ny spe­cial­iz­ing in mod­ern waste man­age­ment solu­tions.

The aim of the meet­ing was to pro­vide a hands-on demon­stra­tion of an inno­v­a­tive PLC instal­la­tion for sort­ing and pro­cess­ing plas­tics. It also served as a valu­able oppor­tu­ni­ty to exchange knowl­edge and expe­ri­ences, as well as to dis­cuss the chal­lenges asso­ci­at­ed with effec­tive plas­tic waste seg­re­ga­tion.

Dur­ing the work­shop, par­tic­i­pants became famil­iar with the PLC stan­dard, a set of guide­lines designed to enable a con­sis­tent approach to the clas­si­fi­ca­tion and prepa­ra­tion of waste for recy­cling. A key top­ic of dis­cus­sion was the cir­cu­lar econ­o­my, which seeks to max­i­mize the val­ue of plas­tics through repeat­ed pro­cess­ing and rein­te­gra­tion into the pro­duc­tion cycle.
